Message Some of you probably remember MidlifeZ (Kenny) re-purchasing his previous Z last Fall. I had it for almost 5 years before the itch hit for something different. Kenny had mentioned several times over the years that he wanted first dibs if I ever sold it. So last August, when I considered selling, he was my first contact. Took us awhile to get everything in line, which was just fine with me. I got to enjoy the Z thru the nice fall weather. In November, he sent a buddy to drive the car from Lexington back to Dallas. It was a great car and a tremendous amount of fun. It will be missed, and I am very glad it went to a good home. A few pics from one of the last drives:

After Kenny picked it up, I started looking more seriously for an E92 M3. I finallly found the right car in January in Bethesda, MD. 6MT, Carbon fiber roof, black leather with carbon fiber leather trim, cold weather, premium and tech packages. We flew into BWI last Friday night. The previous owner picked us up Saturday morning, and we did the inspection and paper work. Then we were headed home, with a few side stops to visit colleges for my oldest son.

It rained on us most of the way through the mountains, but we made it home about 1AM with no incidents. Fantastic so far. I haven't gotten to drive it very much (or even get it cleaned up from the rainy trip home) due to weather, but it is a blast. Very different from the Z. It immediately reminded me how bad the Z32 brakes really are.

go for it. or don't. it kind of depends. ya know? (n/m) -
